The Butterland® (TBL) products are designed for all hair types; it is the usage that will vary when discussing our products and hair types. For example, if you have thin/fine hair, you will want to use less product as not to weigh down your strands with product. If you have more abundant and/or coarse hair, more product may be necessary to achieve optimal moisture and shine. Remember, in general you should always start with minimal product and then increase as necessary.
In Order of sequence/application: TBL Liquid Black Soap Shampoo for washing, TBL Moringa Growth Oil scalp massage, TBL Aloe Detangling Leave In Conditioner, TBL Aloe Styling Cream to seal moisture within braids/twists, and then TBL Whipped Shea Butter to seal your ends and prevent frizz.
Yes! Our Whipped Shea Butter and Moringa Growth Oil are perfect products for relaxed/permed hair. These products both encourage health, hair growth, and moisture; especially when heat has been applied to your strands. Also our Liquid Black Soap Shampoo and Aloe Detangling Leave In Conditioner are ideal for a great wash day.
Our TBL Skincare products consists of, Whipped Shea Butter (best applied on damp skin fresh from bathing), Liquid Black Soap Shampoo-Facial Cleanser (gentle cleanser that both tones and heals damaged skin), Cane Sugar & Honey Scrub (best applied to damp skin; face, heels, elbow/knees, and lips), and our TBL Citrus Glow Serum(provides a year-round GLOW and the perfect moisturizer to follow-up with after using our Liquid Black Soap Facial Cleanser). It is also a great sunscreen.
Our TBL Dual Usage products consists of:
Whipped Shea Butter-Best applied to damp skin after bathing. Best applied by finger combing through blow dried hair or on damp hair during protective styling. It may also be used in the form of a hair grease on the scalp.
Liquid Black Soap Shampoo (facial cleanser)-Best when applied directly to the scalp of wet-ready to wash hair. Lather from the scalp down. It may also be used as a gentle face cleanser. Build a light lather on your face using fingertips and/or exfoliating facial brush for 1 minute and then moisturize. TBL Citrus Glow Serum recommended for optimal moisture and glow.
While we are not dermatologist or estheticians, we have seen positive results in children as young as 3 months, when using our products. The Butterland® products are ALL NATURAL; meaning they contain no chemicals, dyes, or alcohol; they are also vegan products.
